Chart notes
SOMARA settled off of the early pace, saved ground on the turn, mounted an inside bid leaving the turn, was urged under firm right-handed handling and responded in the final sixteenth to prevail. HEAT SEEKING LETA had no speed in the early going, closed well in the stretch but was outfinished by the winner while holding on for second. JAN JAN CAN tracked the early pace from a four wide position and was outkicked in the stretch. THUNDER WOMAN was away well and set the early fractions from a ground saving position and tired in the stretch run. AFTER SUNDOWN chased the early pace and weakened in the stretch. GARDEN IN THE SKY had no early speed, was five wide on the turn and was not a factor.
