Chart notes
LORENA led quickly under pressure, headed approaching the turn, forced the issue to the stretch, took command quickly, drove clear mid stretch and held sway under a drive. JILLI MARIE stalked the pace two-wide, was blocked at the head of the stretch, a hole opened to the outside and rallied determinedly. MEET THE SOPRANO stalked the pace from the rail, chased into the stretch but leveled out in the final 16th. SUNSPRITE broke a bit outward, stalked the pace, chased three and four-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response. CLEOMENES forced the issue, led into the turn, set a pressured pace, was headed upper stretch and gave way. DEJAS TOO settled at the back of the pack, was hustled four then three-wide on the turn, was lugging in through the stretch and flattened out.
