Chart notes
DREAMING OF NEANY broke poorly, racing in the rear, moved up on the outside around the final turn, rallied down the home stretch and was going away at the end. BASALT STREET went to the front, led until the home stretch, couldn't match strides with the winner, but was best of others. DEAL ME A PENNY raced within contention, came around the first turn on the outside, was rank in the early part and finished evenly behind the top two. MYLIES STAR raced in the middle of the field, eased back, came around the second turn on the outside, made a mild bid, but was no factor. AGGIE DOCTOR vied for the early lead and faded. I'D BE RICH lacked early speed, finished wide and passed tired ones. MS. CAJUN QUEEN raced evenly near the middle of the field, weakened and was no threat late. PAT'S EMPYREAN void of early speed and was never close. TARKINGTON GIRL pressed the early pace and dropped back.
