Chart notes
SHACKLEFORD STRONG pressed the early pace, forwardly placed throughout, dueled down the final stretch and prevailed for the win. OUR BLUE JAY raced within contention, raced outside around the first turn, dueled down the home stretch and just missed. REPROBATE unhurried in the early part, moved up, wide around the final turn, made an outside bid and was getting to the leaders. FILIPPO vied for the early lead, drove clear around the final turn, while saving ground and weakened. LONG AND STRONG raced near the middle of the pack, came around the final turn wide and finished evenly. CLERIC raced in the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. WILLY MC void of early speed and showed little. STARZIP always raced near the back and was never a threat. RATHER PRECOCIOUS dueled on the front end in the beginning and dropped back.
