Chart notes
PETER D tracked the pace along the inside through the backstretch, prompted three wide late on the far turn, came out four wide into the lane, came in a couple paths under pressure, powered forward to take lead from MR RUM RUNNER past the eighth pole and finished clear. MR RUM RUNNER set a pressured pace on the inside and vied with GLOBES around the far turn, shook clear turning for home, stayed on with response into the lane but could not hold off the bid from the winner in the final furlong. C MY MEISTER raced in range three wide between foes in the second flight, launched a four wide bid near the quarter pole, came out five to six wide into the lane and stayed on to gain a share. GLOBES applied pace pressure to MR RUM RUNNER through the backstretch then vied outside of rival around the far turn, could not maintain equal terms turning for home and flattened out in the stretch run. HEY PORTER settled inside off the second flight through early stages, tipped out three wide and hustled up leaving the far turn, stayed on in the three path at the upper stretch and had no kick. THE SKIPPER TOO tracked the pace racing between foes in the second flight, came under pressure three wide around the far turn then weakened in the lane. OCTOBER TIME raced in the last flight, saved ground on the rail around the far turn and failed to move on. CHAOTIC TEMPO fanned five wide into the first turn, range in range to the far turn then steadily weakened.
