Chart notes
EMPIRE'S SCORE tracked the pace from the two path behind three rivals, guided into the four path and three wide into the lane, took aim on the leader when straightening in the lane, got closest to that one inside the eighth pole then edged up in the last seventy yards. G AS IN GEORGE stalked the pacesetters three wide through the turn, bid into the lane, gained a clear lead once straightened, cleared outside the eighth pole but could not hold the winner safe. RAMPAGE chased the pace from the three path, was never far back through the turn, bid into the lane from the four path and moved up for the minor share while not a threat to the top two. BIG FUDGE vied for the early lead while along the inside, gained a clear lead in late turn, was caught turning into the lane then faded through the final eighth. HE'S A WARRIOR vied for the lead two wide through mid-turn then faded. SACRED SKY pressed the pace four wide through mid-turn, began losing ground after mid-turn and was done entering the lane.
