MY WAY OR ELSE stalked two deep then challenged leaving the three eighths pole, dueled to even terms still two deep midway on the far turn, dug in for the nod mid-stretch and inched further ahead nearing the wire. HARDSCRATCH tapered to the inside nearing the first turn and rated the pace, came under pressure past the three eighths pole, was met at even terms at the rail midway on the far turn, gave up the nod mid-stretch and reluctantly ceded. WILD CAPPUCINO rounded the first turn in the three path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole and ran in the three path of the far turn, dug in leaving the eighth pole and was gaining on the top two. WIN THEN GRIN steadied at the rail off the heels of Hardscratch into the first turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole then flattened at the rail on the far turn. JEAN GREY ran in the four path the first turn, entered the backstretch outside and showed little response. ESTHER'S FORTUNE ducked to the inside rail leaving the gate, was immediately pulled up and walked off the track. The inquiry light came on briefly before this race was declared official.
