Chart notes
EXPURGATED stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn, drew out leaving the turn made then maintained a safe margin late to prove best under a drive. CROSS THE MERSEY was off a step slow, then settled into stride early, advanced three to four wide on the turn, then rallied well late. SEEKING THE THRONE chased the early pace on the inside and weakened. FROST WARRIOR set the pace on the inside and was headed on the turn and gave way.
