TEXAS SKYWALKER was three wide early then vied for the lead while two wide on the turn, was in a long drive and gamely dug in but was second best in the end. BIG BERNIE settled early then was hustled up between rivals and vied for the lead while three wide on the turn, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch.
