REDEEM EDDIE saved ground throughout, was reserved on the turn, bid into the stretch and edged away driving. CAUSEWAY JONES broke a step slowly, moved very wide into the stretch and closed well. HIGH VELOCITY prompted the pace outside and continued willingly to the finish. THE KING CHEEK was hustled to the front inside to the stretch then weakened slightly. SPITBALL dropped back early and trailed throughout.
