Chart notes
DEEMED ESSENTIAL came in to make contact with Diggin For Dough leaving the gate then pressured the runner-up from the half mile pole, took over two deep approaching the quarter pole, dueled clear midway on the turn, drifted a bit into the lane then drew off under steady handling. DEW DAT was hustled to the front leaving the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, gave up the lead nearing the quarter, dropped back at the rail midway on the turn and settled for second. MAGNOLIA MADAME chased inside, rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly through the lane. MY BEST GIRL exchanged contact with DIGGIN FOR DOUGH leaving the gate then gave chase, rounded the turn off the rail and ran evenly in the lane, while the latter was bumped inward and into My Best Girl leaving the gate, picked up the chase and rounded the turn in the three path, drifted leaving the turn and showed little more. PORT EVE steadied at the rail early on, was eased to the outside and showed no response.
