Chart notes
STRONGER THAN DEX stalked the top pair early down the backstretch, was ridden around the far turn, moved up two to three wide in the lane and got up under strong handling. SLOE GIN BIZ stalked the early pace, moved up four wide in the drive and got up for the place position late. LANTAU showed good early speed to be sent along to a clear lead, held a clear margin near the eighth pole and weakened a bit in the final stages. SHAKE EM LOOSE stalked the early pace, raced three wide around the far turn, moved up five deep near the three sixteenths pole and kept on to the wire. WINSTON'S GOLD settled off the early pace, raced three to two wide in the drive and had no late rally. BALTIMORE BULLEIT was off a step slow, raced five deep nearing the three sixteenths pole and never was a serious factor. RED MESA was off a step slow, raced five wide near the quarter pole marker and had no late response. DR. GRANT stalked the early going, raced six wide into the upper lane and had no response. ONLY CHILD dropped back early, raced along the inside around the far turn and never threatened. MADE TO BE LUCKY dropped back early, was five wide into the upper lane and never was a factor. WATERMELON CRUSH failed to sustain a bid. SMOOZER raced far back and never threatened.
