MALIBU EDGE led quickly,set a reserved pace then held sway under light handling and finished under a hand ride. CITY LEGEND broke outward, closed up quickly to press the pace on the first turn, was hustled two-wide on the far turn and chased through the stretch. FREE SHIPPING settled in mid pack, was hustled from the rail and two-wide on the far turn and finished under a determined drive. RACING IN THE RAIN was off slowly, pressed the pace, was hustled from the rail on the far turn and finished gamely. OPUS NORTH, also away slowly, settled in mid pack, chased three-wide on the far turn but finished evenly. DYNAMITE DUKE, away slowly and off the pace, chased two to four-wide on the far turn but failed to menace. GO TAKE CHARGE broke slowly, settled in mid pack, closed on the backstretch but backed away on the turn and lacked a rally.
