Chart notes
MISS FORT was unhurried while off the inside, moved up through the turn, bid four wide into the lane, caught the leader near the eighth pole, continued to inch up while drifting in a path or two and was clear at the end. BERTIE THE BEAUTY stalked the pace from the three path into the turn, bid three wide into the lane, made the lead while straightening, was floated into the two path by the winner, then stepped in to the rail when shook up right-handed and could not stay with the top one. LIEUTENANT KITTY raced along the inside through the turn, came off the inside to pass a tiring rival into the lane, was inching up inside the eighth pole when shut off, taken up and altered to the outside and still finished willingly. TRIP CHARGE set the pace along the inside through mid-turn then gave way entering the lane. AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF #3LIEUTENANT KITTY RESULTED IN THE DISQUALIFICATION OF #6 BERTIE THE BEAUTY WHO FINISHED 2ND AND WAS PLACE 3TH FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE SIXTEENTH POLE.
