Chart notes
COMPLY was well placed early, rallied at the top of the stretch and drew close, prevailed after a long drive under steady handling. ASSUMPTION set the early pace, was hooked at the quarter pole, dueled throughout the stretch and held gamely to just miss. CENTSOFWANDER had good position early, rallied four wide in a good effort and was best of the rest. DAWN WEST allowed to settle, failed to menace. CHURCHILLED stumbled at the start, rushed up around the turn to reach contention, remained a sharp factor until the top of the stretch, then tired. POMPEY'S RULE was no factor. BO RHAPSODY was outrun.
