Chart notes
SHADOW MATTER was bothered at the start and trailed the field early on, was in the six path into the lane, rallied down the lane and drove past the leader in the late stages. COWAN came out at the start, tracked the pace early along the inside, stayed on the inside into the lane, drew clear in the stretch but was ran down in the final stages. FLAMINGO HAWK came out at the start, stalked the pace early on, raced between horses along the turn, was in the three path into the lane, in tight near the eighth pole and moved up late in the drive. SIR WELLINGTON was bothered at the start, dueled early on from the inside, was in the two path into the lane, drifted out a bit near the eighth pole and weakened late in the drive. BAYOU GEM chased the pace early, raced three wide along the turn, was in the five path into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch run. COMMANDER KHAI dueled early on two wide, was in the four path into the lane and gave way down the lane.
