TWN MS MIDSHIP dueled for the early lead, saved ground around the turn, drove clear and finished well. IN FOR A PENNY pressed the pace, saved ground around the turn, made an outside bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. SUMMER IS HOT vied for the lead, forwardly placed throughout and was outfinished for second. ALHAMBRA PALACE raced near the back, saved ground around the turn, made a mild bid and was outfinished for third. SILVER MAID broke slow, ducked out, came around the turn wide and was never a threat. LUNA Y SOL pressed the early pace and faded. YANKEE BE TRUE void of early speed and was never close.
