Chart notes
JESSICA stalked toward the inside, bid nearing the five sixteenths pole and took the lead at the rail midway on the far turn, raced clear toward the head of the lane and was steadily handled in the stretch. MORALITY CLAUSE settled back inside, bid nearing the three eighths pole and ran in the five path on the far turn, steadily improved to take second mid-stretch and was gaining on the winner. HETTY G. broke awkwardly and made contact with Lady Kaza, settled off the pace in the four path on the first turn, started a bid approaching the seven sixteenths pole and rounded the far turn at the rail, raced evenly to mid-stretch but flattened the final sixteenth. PETES PRIDE settled off the pace about the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole, was carried outward toward the head of the lane then flattened the final furlong. LADY KAZA was bumped lightly at the break then accelerated to the lead while angling to the inside and rated the pace, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, was caught off the rail midway on the far turn, drifted out toward the head of the lane and flattened stride. UPSY DAISY DO rounded the opening turn in the four path, raced outside into the backstretch and picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, then weakened into the far turn. LAVELLO rated just off the pace and off the rail, gave chase from the three eighths pole then faded into the far turn.
