Chart notes
HONEYMOONZ OVER was away well, set quick fractions while saving ground and drew clear in the late stages, gearing down in the final strides. SEQUENTIALLY pulled on the jockey on the run into the turn while chasing the quick pacesetter, was two wide on the turn and closed well along the rail in the stretch to claim the place. MY FRIEND TONY tracked the early pace while saving ground and was outfinished in the stretch, just missing out for second. PRINCE DE PRINCE settled near the rear of the field, was three wide on the turn and mounted a mild late rally in the stretch. WHOA BUDDY was away slowly and had no early speed, was five wide on the turn and did not offer a late rally. RICKEY B chased HONEYMOONZ OVER into the turn while three to four wide and tired in the drive.
