Chart notes
PERTH AMBOY took the lead past the half mile pole and set a pressured pace inside, raced at the rail on the turn then drew off under steady hand urging. ASCENDED engaged in close chase through the backstretch, raced at the rail on the turn, then dueled for second mid-stretch while no threat to the winner. SPLIT THE PACK pressured the pace two deep, raced close off the rail on the turn then weakened inside the eighth pole. LIL CHITU chased outside, rounded the turn in the there path and showed little more. IGNITE THE NIGHT broke a step slow, picked up the chase through the backstretch, raced at the rail on the turn and finished evenly. WHAT ABOUT SHORTY chased toward the inside, raced near the rail on the turn, eased outward into the lane then flattened stride. CALICHITO chased and rounded the turn about the four path, drifted leaving the turn and had little left. SWEET NATION gave only distant chase.
