Chart notes
CRISTIANO was away alertly to set a pressured pace on the inside, then dueled for command by the quarter pole, then was sent down leaving the turn and shook clear by the furlong marker then widened the margin to prove best under a drive. EXPENSIVE was allowed to settle early, came five wide into the drive and rallied well for the place award. ASSAULT WEAPON pressed the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to duel for command by the quarter pole but came up empty in the drive. IRON CLASH chased the early pace and advanced two wide on the turn, shifted out four wide leaving the turn and had no kick, missed show spot. JASPER K passed the tiring rivals. DREAMING THOUSAND was well placed early on the inside and weakened. GEM JUAN was allowed to settle early while four wide and offered no response.
