Chart notes
GOLD MERRITT pressed the pace, raced outside around the turn, made a bid down the stretch and drove clear before the wire. JUST INDISCREET went to the front, drove clear, but proved no match late for the winner. SPEEDOFTHESPEED raced in the middle of the pack, came around the turn wide, made a late bid and got up for the show. GRAND PRIORITY lacked early speed, made a wide late gain and was outfinished for third. JUSTA BUSTER raced within contention and weakened. PERMANENTDETENTION lacked early speed, moved up, but was no factor. BRIMESTONE KID raced near the middle of the field and put forth an even effort. JUDGMENTAL void of early speed and was never close. BRAIZEN FIRE always raced near the back and showed little. FLUFFPOINT pressed the early pace, saved ground around the turn and dropped back.
