Chart notes
STOWAWAY broke inward but led quickly, set a very pressured pace, shook clear upper stretch and held under a drive. RALPHIE BOY was off slowly, stalked the pace from the rail, chased into the stretch and rallied gamely along the fence. SPANISH PRINCE raced in mid pack, closed two-wide on the far turn, chased three-wide into the stretch and rallied with strong interest. MIGHTY SEA, pinched back at the start, settled off the pace, closed two and three-wide on the far turn and gained through the stretch. DAY TRIPPER raced in mid pack, was hustled four-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch and finished with determination. READY FOR THE LADY was rated off the pace, chased three to five-wide on the far turn the closed with good energy. LUCKMAN stalked the pace, chased three-wide on the turn but failed to menace in the stretch. RAPPER ZAPPER settled off the pace, rode the rail throughout but finished evenly. QUEENS QUAY forced the pace, was a head off the leader on the far turn, was cleared by the winner at the top of the stretch and retreated.
