IRISH TUFF was bumped by OPTION in the opening strides and then bumped into TEA AFTER BALLET as a result, took back after being sandwiched, advanced between horses to get to midfield near the five eighths, was pushed along in the four path on the turn and continued to advance, came four wide into upper stretch, kept on with interest and reeled in LARK in the final fifty yards. LARK bumped with TEA AFTER BALLET in the opening strides, was sent to the lead and led approaching the five eighths, set the pace in the two path on the turn, continued on the lead while pushed along in upper stretch, kept on under a drive, but was headed in the final fifty yards by IRISH TUFF. CHOCOLATE BUNNY broke in and bumped TEARS ON A RIVER in the opening strides, advanced inside of HOUR NAP to track the pace, settled back into the turn to chase in the two path, was driven two wide in upper stretch, kept on willingly, and got up for show late inside of HOUR NAP. HOUR NAP advanced down the backstretch with CHOCOLATE BUNNY to track LARK, tracked the leader in the three path on the turn, was driven in range in upper stretch but proved no match from the three sixteenths, flattened out and lost the show late. MAGA COUNTRY was rank early and taken to the rear, raced in the five to six path with the rear pair on the turn, was pushed along three to four wide in the lane and improved was bumped by TEA AFTER BALLET midstretch, and still kept on to prove best of the rest. TEARS ON A RIVER was bumped by CHOCOLATE BUNNY in the opening strides, chased three wide down the back straight, continued in the four to five path midfield on the turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, and lacked the needed kick. TEA AFTER BALLET was bumped between horses in the opening strides, settled in the rear pair inside of MAGA COUNTRY, continued in the three path with the rear pair on the turn, improved between horses in upper stretch, bumped MAGA COUNTRY midstretch, altered out, and passed tiring horses. ARTIE AND JESSIE was sent for speed but ultimately outsprinted by LARK, settled back to track the leading trio, chased in the four path on the turn, and flattened out three to four wide in the lane. KING ZION broke outward, chased toward the rear inside foes, continued in the four path toward the rear around the turn, swung six wide into the lane and mustered no rally. OPTION broke outward and bumped IRISH TUFF in the opening strides, chased midfield, was pushed along while saving ground on the turn, continued under a drive in upper stretch, and weakened.
