Chart notes
EMMA'S A BEAST was away in good order to set a pressured pace from the inside, opened a clear margin with three furlongs to run and drew off as a handy winner. WINNING SOUND was reserved just off the leader the inside, was no match for the winner in the drive but finished well to be clearly second best. MERGIE TROID showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. MEAN SHARON settled off the leaders early, moved three-wide through the second turn and lacked the needed rally. MY LITE NITE lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the second turn and failed to menace. NOBLE GIRL chased the leaders while racing three-wide and weakened after going a half.
