Chart notes
FIVE O ONE unhurried in the early part, saved ground around the final turn, rallied down the lane and proved the best late. DECEMBER SEVEN vied for the early lead, drove clear, saved ground around the final turn, proved no match late for the winner, but was best of others. PALVERA raced within striking distance, made a late bid, proved no match for the top two, but got up for third. SPEEDY FELLAR lacked early speed, made a late gain and was outfinished for third. TEMPT FATE void of early speed, raced wide around the first turn and passed tired ones. LOOKIN FOR EIGHT raced in the back of the pack, came around the final turn on the outside, moved up, but was no factor. DESTINY WAY dueled on the front end and faded. MORRICONE raced within striking distance, had an outside trip and faded. JIMMY TWO TIMES showed early speed, dropped back, eased to the wire and walked off.
