Chart notes
SKY WRITER had good position just off the speed, rallied at the quarter pole and drew close, drew off late under firm handling to win going away. STATESBORO dueled on the early lead three wide, rallied on the far turn and gained a clear lead, was no match late for the winner but held place. SMASH vied for the lead on the inside and went evenly late. BARITONE allowed to settle, saved ground and was no menace. VISKI JONES was unhurried early and was no threat. MAXIMIZER dueled four wide and tired in the lane. MAGICAL EXPRESS vied for the lead for three quarters, then came up empty. ACTSPECTATION was outrun.
