Chart notes
AERONAUT vied for the early lead on the inside, edged ahead into the turn, shook clear through the turn, then drew off and was kept to the task. EIGHTHANDBROADWAY broke sharply from the gate to set the pace off the rail, stayed on when challenged into the turn, came three wide into the stretch and made up some ground on the winner. PROUD CONTENDER allowed to settle, saved ground on the two path through the turn, came through on that path into the stretch, was bumped late and edged up for the show. UNIQUE PATH rated inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside, then veered out late, bumping a rival and missed the show. CAPTAIN well placed, gained a striking position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch and weakened. CREATIVE CHOICE well placed and between, faded through the turn. MACK was no factor.
