Chart notes
MIZZEN ASH was unhurried while in the three path through the turn, waited behind the leader into the lane, got through nearing the sixteenth pole and finished with good energy to be clear at the wire. MISS INHOFE chased the pace from the three or four path through the turn, came into the lane from the five path, gained a short and brief lead near the eighth pole then was outfinished from the inside by the winner. TAPERINEA stalked the pace three wide into the turn, bid into the lane, dueled for the lead to inside the eighth pole then weakened very late. ELUSIVE JUSTICE pressed the pace two wide into the turn then could not keep up through the lane. SECRET SADIE set the pace along the inside into the lane then gave way. NOBLE PRIZE was in the two path through the turn, came into the lane from the six path and never was a factor. BERTIE THE BEAUTY never a factor while saving ground. FIGHTING ZELDA was in the three path into the first turn, rider lost his right iron, reached down to reinsert boot and fell off.
