Chart notes
PARLAY PETE went to the front, took command, lost lead to BLUEWATER, CAT, came back and proved the best late. ZENUCCI unhurried in the early part, saved ground around the final turn, made a late bid and got up for second. BLUEWATER CAT pressed the pace, drove clear around the final turn and was outfinished for second. GIANT MESA was an early factor, forwardly placed throughout and lacked a late kick. SUMMER APPEAL lacked early speed, had a wide trip and was outrun. TOP BRASS void of early speed and was no threat. LITTLE TOE raced near the middle of the field, dropped back and was outrun.
