Chart notes
DEE GEE settled near the rear of the field in the early stages, mounted a bid while three wide on the turn, put away the pacesetter inside of the final furlong and kicked clear in the end. THIS IS THE ONE stalked the pace from a ground saving position through the turn and was outkicked in the stretch run. QUEEN OF THE TRACK was away fast and set quick fractions from the inside, led into the final furlong but was passed by the winner and weakened in the late going. AUSTRIAN NAVY had no speed in the early stages, was four wide on the turn and passed tiring rivals in the stretch run. GOING TO SHABOOMS stalked the pace from the second flight and gave way in the stretch. CHIRP had no speed early, saved ground on the turn and did not muster a late rally. SWANEE pressured the pace through the turn and tired in the stretch run.
