Chart notes
CALIFORNIA FROLIC rated tracking the pace, angled to the two path into the second turn to gain a striking position, bid outside the leader gaining a short lead into the stretch, then drew off and was kept to the task. NEVER SAY KNOW (IRE) broke sharply from the gate and sprinted clear, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then could not threaten the winner, while clearly best of the rest. GIANTSBANE broke in and bumped CADET CORPS, moved up inside through the second turn, came through and edged up for the show. SOLAR TAP allowed to settle, angled in through the second turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and flattened out. RISK VS REWARD well placed and outside, held position two and three wide through the second turn, then weakened in the stretch. OCTOBER TIME mid pack and outside, held position two and three wide through the second turn, then weakened in the stretch. CADET CORPS was bumped by GIANTSBANE and steadied out of the gate, improved position. LUIGI'S SPIRIT mid pack and inside, faded through the second turn. BIGBOYSTOYS mid pack and between, faded on the two path through the second turn.
