MASTEROF THE TUNES was taken in hand early then rated on the inside, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and finished with good energy to get the place. FINEST WORK was taken under a hold early, came out into the first turn, raced in the three path on that bend, was rated off the pace, gained four wide on the far turn, bumped lightly with foes while making a bid between horses in upper stretch, battled with the winner into the final sixteenth and was outfinished while just able to get the show. UNICORN SALLY was taken under restraint early, rounded the first turn in the two path, was reserved off the pace, saved ground on the far turn, angled out in upper stretch and finished with good energy to just miss the show. TALES OF MAKENNA saved ground on the first turn, settled towards the rear, went two to three wide on the far turn, swung six wide into upper stretch and improved posiiton. FREEDOM MACHINE checked off heels nearing the first turn, went four to five wide on that bend, settled on the outside, came under urging late on the backstretch, went three wide on the final turn and also improved position. HOME FOR CHRISTMAS was taken in hand early, pulled hard on the bit while keen under stout restraint, traveled around the first turn in the two path, was rated just off the pace, began pursuit of the leader in the two path on the far turn, gained to make a bid between horses at the three-sixteenths, bumped with foes at that point, battled into the final sixteenth and weakened. ENGLISH BREEZE broke a bit slow, saved ground towards the rear and gained late but failed to threaten. NO PAYNE angled in while going to the front, set the clear pace on the inside, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the lead under a drive in upper stretch and gave way. EMPIRES FIRST LADY went two to three wide on the turns, angled out in upper stretch and was no factor. RAINING CANDY rounded the first turn in the two path, settled off the pace, went around the far turn in the two path, came under a drive in upper stretch and failed to respond. CINDERELLA'S CAUSE tracked the pace on the outside while three wide, dropped back under urging on the far turn and capitulated.
