PEDERSON'S COURAGE , three wide chasing the pace around the turn, gained the lead in upper stretch, opened a clear advantage approaching the eighth pole and held sway under urging. LIBERTY STAR , three wide around the turn, drifted to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. PATIENT GAME , checked in traffic leaving the backstretch, raced in the two path on the turn, angled to the four path approaching the eighth pole, bumped with TENAX inside the eighth pole and finished gamely. TENAX showed speed, raced in the two path around the turn, bumped with PATIENT GAME in mid stretch and faded. PICKIN SEA GLASS showed speed along the inner rail and weakened. THRUSTER was outrun. HANDS DOWN , steadied along the rail behind a rival leaving the backstretch, gave way.
