Chart notes
MAKES GOOD SENSE was away alertly and quickly made the lead, led throughout and remained safe late under firm handling. LOCK ON chased early, dropped back slightly on the turn, came again in the stretch on the rail and was second best. LOVELY HEIR chased the winner throughout and went evenly late. RIDING IN THE WIND was unhurried early, improved on the inside while no threat. RUSHED was no threat. TARTAN THE BULL had good position early and was through after a half.
