Chart notes
FIVE PICS PLEASE held a slim lead in early stages then shook free and held firm around the turn, responded under pressure along the inside through the lane, stayed sharp and finished clear. OUTSIDE THE LAW tracked the top pair then headed in pursuit midway around the turn, sustained a steady two wide bid through the lane and finished second best. TIME FOR GOLD raced off the top trio in early stages, hustled up along the outside around the turn, stayed on three wide in the stretch run and cleared show. BURNADEBT raced off the early speed, was ridden along two wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. IN THE RED raced two to three wide off the pace and never menaced. LAST PUNCH raced up close in the opening quarter then faded along the inside. MINE ME clipped heels and lost the rider not long after the start, ran loose and walked off after the race. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY WHICH RESULTED IN NO CHANGE
