Chart notes
CAPTAIN RILEY broke outward bumping a rival at the start, was allowed to settle, closed closed willingly four wide through the stretch and got up in the final strides. JACK BE FAST had speed from the start along the inside, altered course three wide on the turn, rallied to make the lead before the furlong maker and just missed hanging on. POWERS OUT broke in front, set a pressured pace along the inside to the top of the stretch then was outfinished. CANT BUY COOL pressed the pace two wide until deep stretch then faded. CONEY ISLAND KID bore in at the start bumping a rival then was no threat. CHIEF BIG HEAD was no factor. IRON MEN OF METZ was bounced around between rivals at the start then through after a half. GRAD BASH reared at the start unseating his rider. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
