Chart notes
PROVOST vied outside of PARK LANE LAD for the early lead, shook free leaving the quarter pole, hustled along three to four wide into the lane, widened advantage under steady pressure and finished clear. EXPRESS PERMISSION was off a step slow at the start, commenced a four wide bid around the turn, stayed on with response through the lane and gained second best. TOIL AND TROUBLE was ridden along two wide around the turn, stayed on near the inside through the lane and captured show in final stride. VAPORIZED tracked the top pair in opening stages, coaxed three wide around the turn, stayed on three then two wide through the lane and got outdueled for show. DOUBLE DOWN BROWN raced off the early speed, shifted out four to five wide in the upper stretch and had a mild improve. PARK LANE LAD vied inside of the winner out of the gate, continued to battle around the turn then tired in the drive.
