Chart notes
SHORT POCKETS was unhurried early, raced seven wide into the second turn, took control at the eighth pole and edged clear for the win. CHUCKIES CHANCE was allowed to settle early, raced along the inside into the first turn, angled out in the second turn, was no match and finished second best. DELBERT TOO set a pressured early pace from off the rail and weakened late. DESERT REWARD tracked the early pace, went five wide into the second turn and was empty. DOM WAYNE pressed the early pace, went four wide into the second turn and faded. SPINNING BLACK was always outrun. PER RULING #2021-ZIA-129 FROM THE NEW MEXICO RACING COMMISSION, SHORT POCKETS WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM 1st TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
