Chart notes
JOVIAL JOHN powered up on the turn taking the lead near the quarter pole drawing off in the four path upper stretch winning under wraps. MOON LINK went evenly through the turn vying for place three deep in upper stretch drifting inside while securing second. BILLY NOT WILLIAM went evenly through the turn vying between horses in upper stretch being carried to the inside weakening late. PERFECTLY PLAIN paused in the gate missing the break. FLUG sent clear set the pace into the turn being engaged outside the quarter pole ceding then fading along the rail down the lane. TWO GOLD SPOTS played no factor. IRON DRILL was never involved.
