Chart notes
MY LOVELY GIRL took over between horses nearing the first turn and rated a short lead, came under pressure nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and held on well with steady stretch handling. SLINGIN SAMMY B rounded the first turn about the five path, raced hemmed in most of the backstretch, bid into the far turn and raced off the rail through the turn, dug in from the head of the lane and dueled through the final sixteenth for second. COMPLETE SURPRISE stalked inside then challenged nearing the three eighths pole, dropped back at the five sixteenths, raced near the rail on the far turn then outfinished for second the final sixteenth. DAZZLE ME dropped well back while saving early ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the six path and ran evenly in the lane. DECO STRONG rated close inside the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, eased outward on the far turn and entered the stretch about the five path, angled back toward the inside past the eighth pole and finished evenly to improve her position. TAKE ME HOME rated close off the rail on the first turn, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then flattened in the four path of the far turn. AZZURRA entered the first turn in the six path then stalked past the half mile pole, gave chase nearing the three eighths but weakened inthe three path of the far turn.
