Chart notes
NAUGHTY SHIRLEY tracked the pace, saved ground through the turn, angled four wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drew off late. BARGAINAIRE well placed and off the rail, gained a striking position two and three wide through the turn, then gained a short lead into the stretch, drifted in late and was no match. GITANA broke sharply and led early from the gate, vied outside to the turn, edged ahead through the turn, then weakened the final furlong. MIZZEN allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, angled four wide into the stretch and gained a share. PANAREA was no factor. LIZA STAR moved up quickly to set a pressure pace inside, then faded in the stretch.
