Chart notes
U S ARMY CORPS showed early speed, dueled with ARTIE MY BOY, shook clear midway through the turn then widened in the stretch under a hand ride. PARTY OF NO settled in mid pack, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn then rallied and got up in time to earn the place award. BIG TIME GIZMO raced in mid pack, came two and three-wide through the turn then finished gamely. DIAMONDBACK stalked the pace, closed two and three-wide late turn, launched a determined stretch drive but evened out in the late stages. RIGHT TO STRIKE was away slowly and settled off the pace, chased three to five-wide on the turn then rallied outside the field. CAPTURE THE RIDE, bumped at the outset, settled off the pace, angled two to four-wide on the turn but never reached contention. ARTIE MY BOY led early and was joined in a duel, was left behind mid way through the turn, chased to the stretch and evened out with a 16th to run. JOJOMAR raced in mid pack, chased hard three to five-wide on the turn then failed to menace in the stretch. DR CHAPPELL raced in mid pack, was closing late turn and came out at the top of the stretch then evened out. MANE SOCIETY raced in mid pack, was hustled two-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response. PICKHIMUPSUP, bumped at the start, settled in mid pack, was hustled along the rail on the turn then flattened out i the final furlong. PARMIGIANO raced in mid pack, was hustled four to six-wide through the turn, was blocked at the top of the stretch and evened out. SPANISH MAJOR, in range, chased along the rail on the turn but had no response in the stretch. HIGHLAND JAX was away slowly and settled in mid pack, was hustled two-wide on the turn but lacked a rally.
