Chart notes
WEST PAW stalked the pace, closed three-wide late turn, took command upper stretch, drove clear and held sway under steady pressure. PLUIE D'AVRIL raced in mid pack, was hustled from the rail on the turn and finished under a determined drive. VEIL held a short early lead, moved clear into the turn, was hustled late turn but was headed upper stretch and chased to the end. MODUS OPERANDI steadied at the break, was hustled from the rail and two-wide through the turn then finished evenly. MAKE NO MISTAKE forced the pace, chased two and three-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response. LUCKY GIRASOL settled off the pace, chased two to four-wide through the turn but never reached contention. LEON AZUL broke a bit outward, stalked the pace, backed away early turn, chased to the stretch but leveled out. CLOSE IMAGE settled in mid pack, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn but lacked a rally.
