Chart notes
SILENT RUNNER, steadied at the outset, stalked the pace, closed two-wide late turn, bid in the final furlong and finished under a hand ride. SIR FOR SURE, also steadied leaving the gate, settled off the pace, closed three and four-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch, launched his rally but was lugging in and although game, could not give it his best. GATLING GUN was herded outward at the break, angled out from the rail to three-wide on the turn and rallied gamely. WHERE'S NEAL dueled briefly, led into the turn, was joined approaching the stretch, was headed a furlong out and chased to the end. CLASSY WHISPER broke outward then settled in striking range, was hustled three and four-wide on the turn and finished gamely. LUCYS CHILD broke outward, showed brief speed then settled in mid pack, came two and three-wide on the turn but failed to menace. J M R BEST OF TURF bobbled at the break, dueled, forced the pace, chased hard on the turn but evened out in the stretch.
