Chart notes
SPECIAL BREED was rushed to contention from four wide and was challenged in the stretch under a driving finish. MATTS FIRE N ICE sprinted to the lead briefly and battled down the stretch but was outfinished. EYE DEE KAY was unhurried early made a bid on the turn and closed the fastest. KISS AWAY pressed the pace from the two path but was empty in the drive. DREAMER'S DELIGHT chased the leaders from the inside and made a mild bid late. SMART ANALYSIS vied for the lead from the three path and retreated. TRICOLOUR showed little. SAMURAI ISLAND raced in the middle of the pack but was not a factor.
