Chart notes
GOLD ENDEAVOR was off slowly, settled to the middle of the pack, waited briefly near the quarter pole, angled four wide and finished strongly to draw clear under steady handling. WINNERS LUCK stalked the early pace, moved up four wide near the three sixteenths pole and finished second best. DOC'S GOLD stalked the pace from the outside, raced three to two wide in the stretch run and weakened. AFLEET SNIPER was unhurried early, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and flattened out. KILO BRAVO vied for the early lead and gave way. BEST YEAR YET was slow early, raced five wide around the far turn and never was a factor. ISLAND SUN was unhurried early on, raced three deep in the lane and failed to respond. BALKY dueled early on with the early leader and tired readily.
