HIT A NOTE tracked the early pace, went five wide into the second turn, made a bid at the quarter pole, dueled with MORE FIREWATER to late stretch and edged clear. MORE FIREWATER set a pressured early pace, went four wide into the second turn, dueled with the winner, couldn't match strides late and finished second best. ANXIOUS INDIAN pressed the early pace, raced three wide into the turns and weakened late. WILD FIREWATER was allowed to settle early, raced seven wide through the turn and offered no rally. JAZZIE DREAM was void of any early speed, went three wide into the second turn and never fired. TALKABOUTNAVARONE was unhurried and retreated.
