Chart notes
CAPT. CANDY quickly took control. widened in the stretch then coasted late while being geared down. MR SANDMAN prompted the pace four wide, advanced on the turn and was easily second best. DON GIUSEPPE was urged close up three wide between rivals then flattened out. KOZY'S WILDCAT settled just behind the winner inside then proved empty in the stretch. NOBLE GASTON was in tight in the opening furlong, moved very wide on the turn then flattened out. COLLIN'S GREY LADY raced close up between rivals, steadied inside on tthe urn. FANELLI broke very slowly and dropped far behind then passed several rivals. MARATHONER dropped back wide and lacked a response. FLACO EXPLOSIVO moved very wide down the backstretch and was outrun. JOKEMEISTER broke sluggishly, moved extremely wide on the turn and faded. PERFECT DAY unseated his rider and ran off during the warm-up and was ordered scratched by the stewards.
