Chart notes
COMMANDEER was unhurried early on while between horses along the first turn, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane and drove past the leader in the late stages. LAUGHING BOY set the pace early, was in the two path into the lane, drew clear near the eighth pole but was ran down in the final stages. KING'S OVATION was bothered going into the first turn and raced back early on, was in the seven path into the lane, rallied down the lane and was gaining in the final stages. WARRIOR IN CHIEF broke out at the start, stalked the pace early on, was in the three path into the lane while making a bid but weakened late in the stretch run. KINETIC SKY raced in the four path along the first turn, chased the early pace, was in the five path into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch drive. DR JACK tracked the pace early, was in the two path into the lane and leveled off late in the stretch run. FLAMINGO HAWK was never a threat.
